Discussions about inter-city communication and planning, local suppliers and regulations, and more local-specific talks are welcome.

If I may try to answer a few questions from this template that should obviously be filled:

• Why should people use this category? What is it for?

I would like to have a forum to post longer form discussions about organising the mesh in the “Québec” region, which is a little unclear to me. Perhaps we should actually split that up in multiple “regions” just like we do on Meshmapper, in which case we’d have at least a topic for Montréal and Québec.

I would like, in particular, to have a discussion forum for Montréal / Réseau Libre. We currently have mailing lists, but those things seem to be a thing of the past and I feel a forum like this could be more engaging.

• How exactly is this different than the other categories we already have?

I don’t think there is currently any other category about our region, so it’s very different!

• What should topics in this category generally contain?

Discussions about mesh settings (e.g. regions? txdelay?), how we make decisions, and I figured maybe we could have a formal proposal / adoption system for cross-region coordination as well.

Yes, most definitely, in fact I think we need multiple categories for Québec.

@ItsMeVino can likely help with the rest, but the Quebec category is intended to be multi lingual and, also, yes, it would be good to either set up different sub-categories or even just use tags. But I think sub-categories will likely be easier!
